- Iowa State transfers in credits, not grades. Your Western Iowa Tech GPA will not follow you.
- You are allowed to transfer general education and elective credits with a grade of D or better. If you wish to transfer credits for major requirements, you must have a C or higher.
- Your Western Iowa Tech cumulative GPA is used to calculate transfer scholarships at Iowa State.
- You are required to have two years of a modern language for certain Iowa State programs.
- If you graduate with an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS), Iowa State transfers all courses.
