Cooking with Fresh Herbs

Add some pizazz to everyday cooking with fresh herbs. Korissa Lassen and Renee Sweers, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Health and Human Sciences Program Specialists, will help participants explore healthy cooking strategies with fresh herbs. Learn more about identifying common culinary herbs, using them while cooking to increase flavor, substituting dried herbs with fresh herbs, and preserving herbs by freezing or drying. Recipes and resources on fresh herbs plus a tasting are included.
