Valedictorian Scholarships

• $3700 ($1850 per semester; maximum $7400 over 4 semesters)
• Student must register for 12 or more credit hours each semester
• Renewable for Spring semester with a 3.0 Fall term GPA
• Renewable for 2nd year if student maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA and completes 24 credit hours during the Fall/Spring academic year
• A valedictorian planning to attend WITCC should contact the college and provide an official high school transcript or other document confirming their valedictorian status.
• Stackable with other scholarships/grants
• Does NOT require an application

President's Scholarship

• $1800 ($900 per semester, maximum $3600 over 4 semesters)
• ACT composite 22 and high school CGPA 2.5
• Student must register for 12 or more credit hours each semester
• Renewable for Spring semester with a 2.5 Fall term GPA
• Renewable for 2nd year if student maintains a 2.5 cumulative GPA and completes 24 credit hours during the Fall/Spring academic year
• Student must send in his/her final high school transcript to the college
• Stackable with other WITCC scholarships/grants
• Does NOT require an application

Western Iowa Tech Board Scholarship

• $1200 ($600 per semester, maximum $2400 over 4 semesters)
• WITCC Merged area and Partnered High School may nominate up to 3 recipients
• Student must register for 12 or more credit hours each semester
• Renewable for Spring semester with a 2.0 Fall term GPA
• Renewable for 2nd year if student maintains a 2.5 cumulative GPA and completes 24 credit hours during the Fall/Spring academic year
• Student must send in his/her final high school transcript to the college
• Stackable with other WITCC scholarships/grants
• Does NOT require an application

College Now Grants

• $1200 ($600 per semester, maximum 2 semesters)
• Student has completed a WITCC college course(s) or other college courses during his/her high school career and has earned a "C" or better in each course
• Student must register for 12 or more credit hours each semester
• Renewable for Spring semester with a 2.0 Fall term GPA
• Courses from another college requires an official transcript from that college
• Student must send in his/her final high school transcript to the college
• Stackable with other WITCC scholarships/grants
• Does NOT require an application

Upward Bound/Talent Search Scholarships

• $500 ($250 per semester, maximum 2 semesters)
• Student must register for 12 or more credit hours each semester
• Renewable for Spring semester with a 2.0 Fall term GPA
• Student must have successfully completed an Upward Bound or Talent Search program.
• Stackable with other WITCC scholarships/grants
• Documentation from the program director must be submitted to the WITCC Financial Aid Office.

GED/ESL Scholarship

• $500  ($250 per semester, maximum 2 semesters) 
• Student must have successfully completed a GED or ESL program
• Student must register for 6 credits each semester
• Renewal for spring semester 2.0 Fall term GPA
• Stackable with other WITCC scholarships/grants
• Documentation from the program director must be submitted to the WITCC Financial Aid Office.

Foundation Scholarship

• Up to $1500 per year ($750 per semester)
• Must apply online
• Priority deadline for Fall 2010 semester is March 9
• Stackable with other WITCC scholarships/grants

STEM Scholarship

• $4000 ($2000 per semester, maximum $8000 over 4 semesters)
• Funds for programs such as: Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Cyber Crime Investigations, Electronic Systems Technology, Engineering (Pre), Graphic Design, Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Network Administration & Security, Physics, Robotics & Automation, Web Design
• Must apply online
• Priority deadline for Fall 2010 semester is March 9
• Stackable with other WITCC scholarships/grants

The Security Institute

• $3000 ($1500 per semester, maximum $6000 over 4 semesters)
• Student must be pursuing an Associate of Applied Science Degree in: Corrections, Cyber Crime Investigations, Emergency & Disaster Management, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Sciences, Forensics, Network Administration & Security, Police Science Technology
